Sir Christopher Pissarides

Nobel prize laureate in Economics

Sir Christopher Pissarides won the
Nobel prize for economics in 2010. He
is the School Professor of Economics
& Political Science and Regius Professor
of Economics at the London School of Economics, and Professor of European Studies at the University of Cyprus.

Dr. Pissarides specialises in economics and in February 2020, he was picked by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to chair the committee tasked with the long-term growth strategy for Greece.
